THE FIRST POST

Hello, and welcome to evancarr.com! That is at least what I'm calling this site for now, until I can hopefully come up with something more creative. I have very high hopes for what this place can become, and am really looking forward to finally doing more with my written work. You are currently reading my inaugural blog post, as I recently found the motivation to be a little more productive with my daily journaling. Thus, this blog, at least for now, will be a place where I write every week about my progress in short story/creative writing, thoughts on other creative pieces I have read/watched/witnessed and maybe even stories about what is going on with my personal life, hopefully somehow tying that in to the craft. As you may have gathered from this, the blog is not meant to be one very specific thing, and posts will really just be on whatever is currently sparking my creative interest. Additionally, I am currently building the foundation for an archive of all my best fiction writing, which will accompany the blog on this site. That way, both my past work and updates on progress with my current work will all be in the same place. The ultimate goal here is to provide a complete picture of me as a writer, and I hope to be able to meet that lofty ambition. Looking forward to seeing how this all works out!
